Advice

I worked at a movie theater in college and our uniform involved wearing a shirt and tie. One night after work, I was walking down High Street with some friends and a passerby yelled this phrase at me, presumably thinking I was some sort of business student. I didn’t exactly follow their advice, but it’s something I still look back on and think of as a call to action for figuring out what you really want in life and following your heart. I paired the image with a photo of a friend from my college days and some psychedelic elements. I intended to do a run of 40 of these to start selling, but ended up with a lot of variation in chatter, ink application and press pressure, so I pared down to an edition of 30. This was my first larger scale edition using the press and I feel like I really learned a lot! It’s also very tiring!
