Stephen Goldmeier is a printmaker living and working in Columbus, Ohio. He works primarily in relief printing, using linoleum, wood blocks, and letterpress. He is interested in how printed material’s role in our lives can range from ephemera like a to-do list scribbled on a ripped bit of newspaper to precious artworks and even priceless mementos. His work is inspired by propaganda imagery, Japanese woodblock printing, and Ohio’s natural environment.
